Do you ship outside of the United States?
Our direct website is not equipped to handle international orders, however if you visit our Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop/thelettermate) we offer shipping to Australia & Canada.
Do I have to center my address?
Absolutely not. In fact, when I need to address a large amount of envelopes, I almost always use left-aligned text. Don’t get me wrong, I love the look of centered type, but it is a bit more time consuming to ensure everything stays perfect.
What happens if my address doesn't fit within the diecut window?
No problem. If you start writing a line of text and run out of room, simply slide your Lettermate to the right and finish writing your line of text. Do not try and squish letters into a tiny space, trust us, it will not look good.

I got ink on my Lettermate, how do I clean it off?
Like a truck that has been off-roading, you’re bound to get a little mud on the tires. Smudges & stains are the mark of a well loved Lettermate, but if you insist on keeping it clean as a whistle, use a damp paper towel to wipe off any extra ink. Do not use any soaps or solvents on your Lettermate, as you may end up stripping off the guide markings or translucent finish.
What pens do you recommend using?
My favorite & smoothest black pen, is the Sharpie Pen with a medium (or fine) tip. You can find these at most office supply stores!
For white ink, we recommend the Uni-Ball Signo Broad, and of course the good old Gelly Roll pens. Give your ink a few seconds to dry to prevent smudging.
What envelopes do you recommend using?
We love envelopes from the Paper-Source line. They are a lovely quality, and come in a spectrum of colors & sizes.
